More about School Ski trips to Switzerland
The Alps cover 65% of Switzerland's surface area, making it one of the most alpine countries. The Graubünden Alps, where Voyager’s resorts are found, has always been ahead of its time.
150 years ago the first winter guests came to Davos to take in the fresh air and seek treatment at the high altitude. Back then, the legendary hotelier Johannes Badrutt from St. Moritz had a clever idea and convinced his British summer guests to participate in a bet to persuade them of the benefits of winter in the Engadine valley. He challenged them to return during the winter and if they didn’t like it, he would cover their travel costs. The rest as they say, is history…the guests stayed until Easter!
