The medieval town of Kitzbühel is the archetypal Austrian ski resort, featuring a beautiful, charming alpine town, diverse terrain spread over several mountains and of course, the pistes which host the all-time great ski race – the Hahnenkamm. Its traffic free resort centre, with plenty of fashionable shops and restaurants is ideal for school ski trips.
In terms of skiing, Kitzbühel has something for everyone, spread across 165km of pistes, in the vast Wilder Kaiser Brixental SkiWelt area. The area boasts both gentle runs and more challenging slopes, with plenty of cleverly designed pistes, to produce an area which is perfect for the mixed abilities of your average school group. Recent investment has also improved the lift system significantly, to produce an eclectic mix of new lifts and antiquated chairs.
Evening entertainment includes Tyrolean evenings, skating, swimming, film nights, disco and karaoke.

This small, family-run traditional inn is located about 6km from Kitzbühel in Aurachview, with the nearest ski station approx. 1km away. All rooms are en-suite and furnished in a Tyrolean style, complete with TV and free WiFi. Groups can look forward to hearty Tyrolean fayre in the cozy dining room. Hotel facilities include bar with fireplace, lounge, sauna, steam bath, solarium, TV room and games room.
Youth Hotel Noichl
The Noichl youth located is ideally located for skiing in Kitzbühel, with 110 beds in twin and multi-bedded en-suite rooms. The nearest ski lift is a mere 2km away and experienced skiers can ski to back to the house itself. The hostel has been recently renovated to an extremely high standard and the staff team guarantee a warm welcome for Voyager groups.
Meals are taken in the new dining room, including delicious buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal. Facilities include party room, TV & Karaoke room.
